Our Librarians Select Their Favorites for Families Like Yours

First, we select books and apps that we want to recommend to children in our community. These aren’t all of the books we have in our collection - just some of our favorites.

We work with experts across the country to extensively catalog these books and apps. For example, we tag them with themes like "Daring to be Different" or character’s backgrounds like "Father & Child."

Our system then regularly matches our favorite books to each individual child’s interests and background. We also include tips with each recommendation to give you ideas of ways to help your child learn.
